Margherita di Savoia beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Margherita di Savoia is a beach resort town in the south of Manfredonia gulf, Apulia, Italy. The beach is good - with a wide strip of imported white sand. Unfortunately, there are a lot of tourists in the high season, but it's like that almost everywhere in Italy. Entry into the water is smooth thus being more suitable for the younger children. There is a promenade and a lot of cafes. It is also worth to mention the west side of the coast known as
Orno. There are many small bays made of breakwaters. One might expect that it should be a great spot. However, in reality these are just dirty shallows. A little further away to the west, there is no sand at all, but breakwaters are still continuing, - so nothing interesting. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
