Maria Chiquita beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Maria Chiquita is a black sand beach located to the east of Colon town in Panama. West end of the beach is more beautiful - with palms and large condominiums. As for the east end, it looks more like a Latino village, but also nice enough. The place is very quiet being perfect to relax during few days. The beach is rather mediocre by the Caribbean standards, but still good enough for Panama. In addition, there is usually no problem of algae, while the swimming is comfortable. Shore and seabed: sand.
