Marina di San Nicola beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Marina di San Nicola is a beach with dark sand in the northern suburbs of Rome, Italy. It is rather mediocre, but at least there are relatively not many visitors even during the peak season. As everywhere in Lazio, the coast has a long beach facing the open sea, as well as few artificial bays protected from waves by the breakwaters. The great castle of
Palo Laziale can be seen to the west, while the notable hospital of
Ospedale Bambin Gesu is to the east. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
La Posta Vecchia Hotel is a five-star resort located just near Palo Laziale Castle. Rooms' fares start from US$500 per night.
As for Marina di San Nicola, it has a very limited number of accommodation options, and these are slightly overpriced.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to Rome airports of
Fiumicino (FCO) or
Ciampino (CIA). Take a train to the station of
Cerveteri-Ladispoli or
Torre In Piet. Palidoro and hire a taxi.
When to go [edit]
