Marquet beach

Marquet is a beach in the southern suburbs of Monaco. The beach is relatively good, but still below average standards - even for France. But for Monaco, it totally sucks. The main problem are that ugly high-rise buildings around. But in Monaco and neighborhoods, it's like that everywhere. Shore and seabed: pebbles. [edit]

In Marquet beach, apartments starts from about US$200, while real hotels - from US$400 per night. By the standards of Monaco, this price tag is quite Ok.

Fly to Nice international airport (NCE). Next get by train to Monaco Monte Carlo station.

The best time for a beach holiday on the French Riviera is a warm period in August. Since this is the only time, when sea water is relatively warm.
