Mattinata beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Mattinata is a large pebble beach on the Adriatic coast of Apulia, Italy. The place is beautiful - with scenic views and with clear water. Unfortunately, pebbles are not very comfortable to walk barefoot, so it is better to have swimming shoes. In addition, the water is very deep right near the coastline, while the sea is usually choppy. However, there are breakwaters in the north end of the beach, where the safe swimming is quite possible. Shore and seabed: pebbles, stones.
