Medjumbe island

Medjumbe is a a small private island in Quirimbas archipelago in Mozambique. As for the advantages we may note long sandspit stretching far into the ocean, as well as the old lighthouse. But the beach itself is not very nice. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

How to get there [edit]

The most cheap is to fly to Quirimbas islands via airports of neighboring countries: Dar es Salaam International Airport (DAR) (Tanzania), Nairobi International Airport (NBO) (Kenya) or Johannesburg International Airport (JNB) (South Africa).

Next fly to Pemba International Airport (POL) or fly to Nampula International Airport (APL). Next hire a taxi/speedboat or take a flight on your hotel's private plane.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in the islands of Quirimbas is a dry season from April to November. However, if you prefer the warm sea water, it is better to avoid the period from July to September.
