Melito di Porto Salvo beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Melito di Porto Salvo is the southernmost point of continental Italy being some kind of boundary between Tyrrhenian and Ionian seas. To the west and to the east of railway station, there are two different beaches. Both are good enough - with promenade, palms and few patches of sand. This is a place for a relaxation - trying to image Africa somewhere beyond the horizon. There are no attractions around, but there are also no crowds of tourists. Shore and seabed: pebble, sand.
