Meradhoo island

Meradhoo is an island resort in the west of Gaafu atoll, Maldives. The island is beautiful, but totally tiny - even by the Maldivian standards. On the other hand, snorkeling on the house reef is excellent. But you should understand that all islands in Gaafu atoll have great reef. Raffles Maldives Meradhoo is a 5-star upscale property with rooms' fares starting from US$2000 per night. Overwater villas are located on a sandbank - about 500 meters to the south of the main island. This is not a good idea, and definitely very uncomfortable for the visitors.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Maldives international airport (MLE). Next fly to Kooddoo airport (GKK) or fly to Kaadedhdhoo airport (KDM). The resort's speedboat will deliver you to Meradhoo island in 15 minutes. Cost of transfer Male-Meradhoo-Male is US$550 for adult and US$300 for child.
