Mezzavalle beach

Mezzavalle is a great wild beach located to the southeast of Ancona, Italy. There are beautiful green mountains around, as well as many shade of trees - not far from the coastline. The descent from the mountain is hard, but features a great view down the sea. Entry into the water is smooth with occasional sandy patches, but mostly pebble. There is no sunbeds rental most of time. But there is a cafe, toilet room, shower and trash cans. Shore and seabed: pebbles, sand. [edit]

There are several hotels within a walking distance from Mezzavalle beach - with rooms' rates starting from US$150 per night. Or you may find a lot of cheaper options in Ancona. But then you'll have to travel by car to the beach and back.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Ancona airport (AOI). Next get by the local train to Varano station, and hire a taxi - to drive about 5 km to the east.

The best time for a holiday on the beach of Mezzavalle is a warm period in the summer half of the year.
