Mihiripenna beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Mihiripenna is a small beach in Sri Lanka, partially protected by reef from the open ocean. Thus the waves are not very strong. In the west end of the beach, there are several pictersque palms hanging over the water. As for the bad things, it is worth to mention a crowd of tourists and dangerous currents. Another problem is that in the night coastal hotels drain sewage into the sea. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
