Moana Sands is a beach on the south coast of
Rarotonga island in the Cook Islands. Sea bottom is mostly sandy. So the swimming is quite comfortable. Good snorkeling is also possible right from the beach. Nearby, there is a large supermarket (24/7), a good restaurant and a bus stop. So you will be able to explore the whole island. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Moana Sands Beachfront Villas is a four-star resort with rooms' rates starting from US$250 per night. This is a great option for the money - despite some minor drawbacks. There are also several other hotels nearby. So average price tag is not very expensive.
