Monkey Beach is a wild beach in the north-west of
Tioman island, Malaysia. There are often many monkeys here, and they will probably try to steal your belonings. The beach is one of the best on the island, - secluded and with a lot of trees. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Near Monkey Beach, there are no hotels, nor any kind of buildings. The nearest hotels are located just to the north - on
Salang beach.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Kuala Lumpur international airport (KUL). Next take a bus to
Mersing, and follow by
Bluewater Express ferry to
Salang beach of Tioman island (2 hours per way).
Then walk to Monkey Beach along the coast (40 minutes of a hard jungle trail) or take a boat for 20 ringgits ($4.5) per person.
