Montagu beach

Montagu is a public beach in the north-east of Nassau island, Bahamas. There are several breakwaters protecting from strong waves. The shore has a lot of palms and trees. In the north end of the beach, historic Fort Montagu can be found. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Nassau international airport (NAS) or get by cruise ship from West Palm Beach. Next get by bus (jitney) # 10.

Near the Montagu beach, there are also few parking lots with a lot of free space.

When to go [edit]

Montagu beach has great weather all year round. Sea water is warmer in summer, but it's less rainy in winter.
