Montalto Di Castro beach

Montalto Di Castro is an ancient town by the sea in the north of Lazio, Italy. The beach is located a little to the south - in Montalto Marina and its relatively wild surroundings. The sand is dark, and along the coast, there are beautiful dunes covered with bushes. In general, this is a good place - not far from Rome (one hour by the local train). Shore and seabed: sand. Montalto Marina has a dozen of hotels with room's rates starting from US$90 per night. However, most locals prefer California Camping Village located slightly to the east. It features a pool, loud music and different kinds of animation.

Fly to Rome airports of Fiumicino (FCO) or Ciampino (CIA). Take a train to Montalto Di Castro station.
