Montepaone Lido beach

Montepaone Lido is a great beach on the Ionian Coast of Calabria, Italy. There are enough of tourist amenities, but on the other hand, it's not so crowded as neighboring Soverato. Hills come to the water edge in the north end of the coast. In addition, excellent mountain trekking is possible, though this is usually not advertised. Shore and seabed: sand, pebble. [edit]

Montepaone Lido do not have many hotels, and most accomodation options are located far from the railway station. In most cases, the cost of the room ranges from US$50 to US$90 per night.

Fly to Lamezia Terme international airport (SUF). Next take a train to the station of Montepaone Montauro.
