Morondava beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Morondava (Murundava) is a beach in
Madagascar located just 15 km away from famous
Avenue of the Baobabs. The place is good enough to walk, to meet the sunset and to sit in a cafe. As for the beach itself, it's below the average standards. The water is muddy, while the swimming is dangerous almost everywhere - due to strong currents. However, during the high tide, swimming may be comfortable near the breakwaters. You may also take a boat tour to the mangroves located just nearby. Shore and seabed: sand.
