Motu Tavararo island
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Motu Tavararo is a private island in the south of
Tikehau atoll, French Polynesia. The island is beautiful and with good snorkeling. The hotel also offers interesting tours over laguna of the atoll. Unfortunately, the swimming is not very comfortable, since seabed is mostly shallow and rocky. In addition, it looks like that the garbage is not taken away, but just buried in the center of the island. This behavior is probably eco-friendly. But it's not very good for the tourists, who pay a lot of money to stay here. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Ninamu Resort is an eco-friendly property with rooms' fares starting from US$700 per night. The buildings are scenic, while rooms are decent. The service is good enough, but still there are many complaints. So value for money is not quite Ok in this case.
