Mvassa is a beach in the south of
Pointe-Noire - main city on the Atlantic coast of Republic of the Congo. It is also known as
Kouilou. The beach is quite pleasant, with smooth entry into the water and without strong waves. There is
Ponton Plage cafe located in the west end. In general, there is not much of tourist infrastructure here. Shore and seabed: sand.

The best time for a beach holiday on the Atlantic coast of Congo (Rep.) is a period from December to April. On the other hand, sea water is too cold from May to October, while November is a rainy season.
