Mystery island (Inyeug) is a small paradise islet located near the large
Aneityum island in Vanuatu. Once a few days, cruise ship makes a stop here, and hundreds of tourists head to the beach (walk a little to find an uncrowded spot). The rest of time, there is no a living soul on the island. In addition to the beach vacation, the main attractions are local crafts market, as well as swimming with sea turtles and snorkeling. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
There are no hotels on the Mystery island. Few accommodation options can be found on the neighbouring large island of Aneityum, but these are not presented over the Internet. However, most of the tourists are from cruise liners, so they don't need a hotel.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Port Vila international airport (VLI), and then fly to
Aneityum airport (AUY).
As for cruise liners, they stop in the lagoon next to Mystery Island, and all the passengers are carefully delivered right to the beach. Fortunately, many of them take different tours (snorkeling, swimming with turtles and sharks). By the way, it is best to take tours directly from locals on the beach, as after bargaining it will be much cheaper than via cruise company.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in Mystery island (Inyeug) is a dry season from July to October.
