Nalaguraidhoo is a private island in the South Ari atoll, Maldives. The island is big, beautiful, with palms, white sand and a long sandspit. There are a lot of attractions, sometimes quite noisy. So it is worth to go here, if you usually get bored in typical Maldivian resorts. But if you need a complete privacy, it is better to find some other island. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Sun Island Resort & Spa is a four star hotel with rooms' fares starting from as low as US$250 per night. In general, this is a good property for the money, focused on budget travelers. It is better to take "all inclusive" package, as drinks are very expensive even by the Maldivian standards.
Some bungalows have very bad beach, so sometimes it makes sense just on the arrival to ask for a room in other end of the island.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Male international airport (MLE). Next take a domestic flight to
Maamigili airport and get a 10 minutes journey by the hotel's boat. The return transfer costs US$300/US$150 for adult/child 2-11 years.
When to go [edit]
The best time to travel to the beaches of Sun Island Resort is a dry season in the winter half of the year.
