Namua is a paradise islet to the east
Upolu island in Western Samoa. It is also known as
Turtle Island Samoa. You can get here by water taxi from villages of
Muiatele or
Malaela. The journey takes a maximum of five minutes per way. In the north-west of Namua Island, there is an excellent beach with tiki huts and toilet. But most of the island is hilly and without hiking trails. A cafe is under construction. However, as for now, it is worth to bring with you food and water to be enough for the whole day. In addition to swimming, there is a good snorkeling in Namua Island. However, house reef is mostly dead. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
