Nangyuan is a famous beach near the
island of Koh Tao in Thailand. In reality it is just two sandspits. The place is really nice with good snorkeling. However, during the daytime there are always too many people. Sunbeds are not free, while it is prohibited to lie on the sand. The beach looks great from the top, however as for sandspit there are
more spectacular places in the world. Shore and seabed: shells, sand.

Hotels [edit]
Nangyuan Island Dive Resort is the only hotel on the island with room's fares starting from US$100 per night. Of course, it is expensive by Thai standards, but given the unique location, the price is quite reasonable. By the way, this cheapest price is available only if you book much in advance.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Bangkok international airport (BKK). Next take
Lomprayah package, including bus to
Chumphon, and then catamaran to Koh Tao. Boat from Koh Tao to the beach of Nang Yuan costs 200 bahts for the round trip per person, and another 100 bahts is an entrance fee to the beach.
When to go [edit]
The best time to travel to Nangyuan beach in Thailand is a dry season from late December to September. As for October-November, it is peak of the rainy season, and there's nothing to do in Koh Tao that time.
