Nao Nao island
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Nao Nao is a private islet (motu) near the island of
Raiatea in French Polynesia. Many years ago it was an abandoned runway used during WWII. But as for now, it is completely overgrown with grass and palms, while the island has been turned into a luxury hotel designed for one family or a group. The motu has two decent beaches, house reef with good snorkeling and large area of tropical gardens. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
