North Bay beach

North Bay - is a beach from 20 rupees banknote. It's located in South Andaman island in Andaman islands. This place is not comfortable for swimming, but snorkeling is very good here. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

There are no hotels near the beach. It's purely a day trip destination, so you'll have to rent a room in Port Blair town.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Andaman Islands International Airport (IXZ). Excursion boats go from the pier of Port Blair to North Bay island. Departure time is 9 am to 11 am, and boats come back till 3 pm. Travel time is about half an hour per way.

When to go [edit]

In Port Blair, the weather is comfortable during dry season in the winter half of the year.
