Foa Island.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Tonga International Airport (TBU). Next fly to
Haʻapai-Lifuka Airport (HPA) or take a ferry to Lifuka island. Next hire a taxi to the neighbouring Foa island.
The distance between the islands of Foa and Nukunamo is just 200 meters, so you can easily cross it by kayak or by boat. It is not recommended to swim across the strait, as strong currents can move you out into the open ocean.
