Oaga island

Oaga is a private island in the northwest of North Male atoll in the Maldives. Beach is mostly good enough. Although there are ugly areas with breakwaters protecting against coastal erosion. House reef is rather dead. The main problem is about hotel's design. It is felt more like a hipster VIP camping, but not like a real five stars. However, if you have never been to local Maldivian islands, then you may even like this concept. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Oaga Art Resort Maldives Greatest All Inclusive is a 5-star hotel with rooms' rates starting from US$700 per night. It tries to feel like a traditional Maldivian settlement. To be honest, sometimes it looks ridiculous. Otherwise, it is an ordinary luxury beach resort being slightly overpriced.

Fly to Maldives international airport (MLE). Next get by the resort's speedboat.

You can relax any time of year in the Maldives. But the best is a winter half of the year.
