Ofu is an island in
Vava'u archipelago of Tonga. There are excellent beaches with palm trees, and the water is calm due to good location in the inner lagoon of the archipelago. The west of the island has a village, while the east side has several secluded beaches. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Ofu Island Backpackers is the only hotel on the island. Unfortunately, it is poorly presented in the international booking systems. Rooms are quite basic, but the price is cheap.
Friendly family do their best to make guests feel comfortable. This is an excellent opportunity to feel the real Polynesia!
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Tonga International Airport (TBU). Next take a domestic flight to
Vavaʻu International Airport (VAV). There are also flights from Fiji to Vava'u islands.
In order to get to Ofu Island you'll have to get by taxi and next follow by boat. Transfer should be arranged in advance with your hotel.
