Oppenheimer beach

Oppenheimer is the best beach of St. John island in the Caribbean. This is one of the few beaches not being the part of the National Park. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

The beach is not part of the National Park, so there are about a dozen houses, - room rental is possible.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to St. Thomas Airport (STT). (Sometimes it will be cheaper to fly via San Juan Airport (SJU).) Shuttle taxi-bus will get you from the St. Thomas airport to Red Hook pier. Ferry from Red Hook to Cruz Bay port of St. John island runs every hour. In Cruz Bay, sit to shuttle bus taxi, following along the northern coast.

When to go [edit]

Any time of year. Winter half of the year is the high season with crowds of people. Period from June to October is considered as hurricane season. However, hurricanes happen not every year.
