Padukere beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Padukere is a beach to the north of
Udupi town - in Karnataka state of India. A little further to the south, the same beach is called
Kodi Kanyana. The place is beautiful - with palms, soft sand and good swimming. Stones placed near the coastline slightly spoil the view. But it's like that almost everywhere in this district of Karnataka. It protects from coastal erosion, but looks ugly anyway. So beachfront hotels are the only occasional spots without that notorious stones. Shore and seabed: sand.
