Pajas Blancas beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Pajas Blancas is the western beach of Montevideo in Uruguay. There is also
Playa Zabala beach located a little to the east. It is possible to get here by city bus 133 or L15 - to the stop of
Rambla Puerto Soledad De Malvinas y Av. Cap. Le. The beach is scenic. There are many trees, while sea bottom is sandy. Unfortunately, the place looks somewhat abandoned. While it is not quite safe in the evening. Anyway, this is a great option near the capital town to get to the sea. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
