Nim Li Punit mayan ruins and the

Hotels [edit]
The peninsula has a great choice of hotels, including relatively inexpensive options. However, the overall price level is quite high (like in US).
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Belize International Airport (BZE). Then take a bus from Belize City via Dangriga town. Total road will take a minimum of 5 hours. There is also a direct shuttle minibus Belize City - Palencia (3 hours per way).
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in Belize is a dry season from mid-January to May. Please note, that there are too many seaweed ashore during the hurricane season (from June to October) - like everywhere in the Caribbean.
