Palio beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Palio is a beach in the western suburbs of
Kavala, Greece. Palio town is cozy and beautiful. It has everything you need - including a good choice of supermarkets. But there is not a crowd of visitors - unlike larger resort destinations. There are many free areas ashore, as well as beachfront bars with sunbeds rental. In most cases, you just can buy something at the bar - to user their sunbeds for free. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
In Palio hotels, rooms' fares start from US$80 per night. For unclear reason, the price tag almost doesn't depend on the distance from the sea. So feel free to look for options located near the sea.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Thessaloniki international airport (SKG). Next hire a taxi.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in Greece is a warm period from July to August.
