Pauoa Bay beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Pauoa Bay is a private beach in the northwest of Big Island of Hawaii. However, even if you are not a hotel guest, you still may leave your car in
Holoholokai park and walk to the beach. The beach is beautiful, with smooth entry into the water and without waves. Unfortunately, there are almost no palms near the water's edge. But anyway, this is a great spot. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Fairmont Orchid is a 5-star resort with rooms' fares starting from US$600 per night. This is a good hotel. But, unfortunately, there are a lot of minor problems. So this is not a real upscale property, while value for money is not good enough.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Honolulu international airport (HNL). Next fly to
Kona international airport (KOA) or fly to
Hilo airport (ITO).
When to go [edit]
