Fly to Mauritius International Airport (MRU). Next hire a taxi. Also there is a well developed inexpensive bus service on the island.

When to go [edit]

Any time of year. Rainy season is from January to March. July-October are the coolest months, and this period sea water is rather cold.

There is a large supermarket Super U located in the nearby Grand Baie beach. There are lots of inexpensive goods there, including food.
