Picnic Bay is the southernmost beach in
Magnetic Island of Australia. This is one of the few places on the island with the swimming net in the water. There are a lot of trees and palms, while sea bottom has good entry into the water and doesn't suffer from the low tide. Shore and seabed: sand.

How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Townsville international airport (TSV). Next take a bus to the stop
"Flinders St at Wickham Street" (routes 200, 201, 206).
From
Townsville Breakwater marina take a ferry to
Nelly Bay of the Magnetic island. Next walk or take a bus #250 to the stop
Yule St at Picnic Bay Jetty.

The best time for a holiday on the beaches of Magnetic Island is a dry season from April to November.
