Pizzo is a seaside resort in Central Calabria, Italy, being the nearest one to the south from Lamezia Terme airport. The Old Town area is beautiful - quite like the famous Amalfi coast, and the beaches here are much better and less crowded. In addition, miles long flat coast comes to the north - with occasional artificial bays protected from waves by the breakwaters. Shore and seabed: sand.
