Plage de la Gravette beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Plage de la Gravette is the northern beach of
Antibes town on the French Riviera. There is sand ashore, while sea bottom is mostly rocky with good snorkeling. Unfortunately, walking on sharp stones is hard. Showers and toilets are available in August only. The beach is located right near the Old Town. So there is a good view of the fortress walls, and you'll have a lot of space to wak around. There are usually a lot of visitors. However, it is still possible to find a free area on the beach. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Near Gravette Beach, there is a large choice of apartments from US$200 per night. This is quite a reasonable price tag. Since these are cozy little streets in the Old Town being located near the beach.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to Nice international airport (NCE). Next get by train to
Antibes station.
