Plage du Midi is the western beach of Cannes in France. Most areas are free. But sunbeds rental is also available. Swimming is good, while views are beautiful. There are free showers and toilets, as well as many restaurants. East end is more upscale, since it is located near the Old Town. As for the west end, there is a road along the beach. So it is often possible to park there. Shore and seabed: sand.

Near the beach of Plage du Midi, there is a large choice of hotels with rooms' fares ranging from US$80 to US$400 per night. The place is rather expensive. But if you book in advance, it is still possible to find interesting options at a discounted price tag.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to Nice international airport (NCE). Next get by train to
Cannes station.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday on the French Riviera is a warm period in August. Since this is the only time, when sea water is relatively warm.
