Platja d'Aro is a major beachfront town in region of Costa Brava, Spain. The key feature of this place are high-rise buildings along the coastline. However, at the sides of the beach, there are also relatively secluded spots with some trees. Needless to say, that during the high season, there are crowds of tourists everywhere. So don't expect a complete relaxation. Shore and seabed: pebbles, sand.
