Playa Alcatraces beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Playa Alcatraces is a private beach in the southern suburbs of Santa Marta, Colombia. Only guests of Los Alcatraces condominium are permitted to enter the area. So it is quiet and safe place. The beach itself is beautiful - with many picturesque palms and cozy tiki huts. The sea is without waves and without algae. However, sea water is often not quite clear. There is also church, where you can have a true Caribbean wedding almost right near the coastline. The place is located far from the center of Santa Marta. So there is nothing interesting nearby, - no shops, nor attractions. Shore and seabed: sand.
