Playa Ancon is a beach near the town of
Trinidad in
Cuba, which is a UNESCOs World Heritage site. The beach itself is not the best by the standards of Cuba. However, it's very good, and the most important it's not far from the magnificent Trinidad. Shore and seabed: sand.

There are several expensive hotels near the beach. However, it will be much better to choose a cozy casa in Trinidad. In this case, you will save a lot of money, and will be able to combine a beach holiday with a sightseeing.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Havana Airport (HAV), or fly to
Varadero Airport (VRA), or fly to
Santa Clara Airport (SNU). Next get to Trinidad by taxi or by
Viazul bus. There is a frequent shuttle service beetween Trinidad and Playa Ancon.
When to go [edit]
The weather is great all year round in Trinidad. Many Americans are afraid of the hurricane season from June to October, however, you don't have to pay attention to all of that when planning a trip to Cuba.
