Playa Blanca beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Playa Blanca is a wild beach to the northeast of Colon town in Panama. The place is beautiful. It is surrounded by jungle with monkeys. The sand is not really white, but still very light. Sea water is often clear depending on the current weather conditions. Unfortunately, there is occasional trash on the beach, while it is always crowded during the weekends. You can get there by boat from Portobelo for US$25 per person for the return trip, - or by boat from Colon for US$60. However, it makes no sence to get here by boat from Colon, since there are few good beaches near the town. Shore and seabed: sand.
