Playa Blanca is a beach located to the south of Santa Marta, Colombia. It is only possible to get here by boat from Santa Marta. The boat is cheap. But most likely that you'll have to rent a sunbed. Since Playa Blanca is usually overcrowded, while there are no trees ashore. A little further to the north, there is additional wild beach of
La Playa Del Amor - without a living soul. You can walk there via the hill. Also in the south, you can fly down by a zipline from
Rodadero Aquarium to Playa Blanca. Shore and seabed: sand.

How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Cartagena international airport (CTG). Then get by bus or by taxi to one of the towns located around the Tayrona park, - in most cases these are Santa Marta or Taganga.

You can relax any time of year on the beaches of Santa Marta in Columbia. There is no pronounced rainy season, while sea water is always warm.
