Playa Blanca beach

Playa Blanca is the best beach in Rio Dulce in Guatemala. The beach itself is quite ordinary. Much more interesting is the region of Rio Dulce. This is the most famous yacht spot in the Caribbean, as it's the safest place during the hurricane season. As a consequence, Rio Dulce is the best place in the World to buy a used yacht up to $30K. There are no hotels near the beach. The nearest hotels are located in Livingston town. The choice of accommodation is great, mainly dominated by low-cost options.

Fly to Guatemala International Airport (GUA). Take a bus to Livingston town (Rio Dulce). Next hire a boat.

It is good weather in Rio Dulce all year around. However, it is best to avoid the rainy season from June to August and from October to December.
