Playa Cardon is a beach of
Guiria town in the east of Venezuela. It is also known as
Playa Cocal or
Playa Paraiso. Sea water is muddy, and there are many stones on the coastline. However, this is the most popular city beach being good enough in all respects. There are many picturesque trees and palms. Swimming is comfortable - with good entry into the water and without waves. There is a large parking lot. It is also quite possible just to walk to the beach. Shore and seabed: pebbles, sand.

Hotel Bar Restaurant Da' Mario is a great property with pool - right near the beach. Please note, that there are several private owners. So the service and prices can vary dramatically. There are also few other hotels in town. All of these are also located within a walking distance of the beach.

Barcelona Airport (BLA). Next get by taxi.
When to go [edit]
Feel free to relax on the beaches of northeastern Venezuela all year round. There is no pronounced rainy season, while sea water is always warm enough. In addition, this region is located outside the hurricane belt.
