Playa Caribe beach

Playa Caribe is a beach in the northwest of Margarita island, Venezuela. In the east, this beach is called Playa Boquita. This is a great spot with palms, nice sand and good entry into the water. Nearby, there is also a small rocky islet protecting the coastline against strong waves. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

There are no hotels right near the beach of Playa Caribe. The nearest hotels are located within a walking distance - a little to the east. The most notable one is Costa Caribe Beach Hotel & Resort with rooms' rates starting from US$100 per night.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Margarita International Airport (PMV). You may also fly to Caracas International Airport (CCS), and then get to the island by ferry. Most ferries depart from Puerto La Cruz or from Cumaná. There's also ship from La Guaira (Caracas).

When to go [edit]

Feel free to relax in Margarita island any time of year. It is always warm on the island, and there is no pronounced rainy season. In addition there are no hurricanes on the island.
