Playa Cayo Sal is an excellent beach in the
Morrocoy National Park, Venezuela, - beautiful and easily accessible. There are many palms and white sand, as well as parasols rental, a bar and even a small chapel. Salt lake located inland can be interesting to walk during the low tide. At the weekends, the beach is overcrowded with the domestic tourists. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
There are no hotels on the islet of Cayo Sal. So the only way to spend a night is to stay at the hotel on the mainland town of Chichiriviche.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Caracas international airport (CCS) and get by bus to Chichiriviche (via Puerto Cabello). Next take a boat to Playa Cayo Sal.
When to go [edit]
There is no low season in Playa Cayo Sal. Relatively rainy period is in July-August, but still it is not very rainy.
