Playa Chaguaramas is a wild beach in the east of Venezuela. The place is beautiful with palms and scenic view of the hills. There are often waves. However, entry into the water is smooth. So even children can usually swim. Road to the beach can be very hard after the rain. So 4WD high jeep is mandatory during this period. There are no any kind of services. So you have to take everything you might need with you - including drinking water. Shore and seabed: sand.

There are no accommodation options available near Playa Chaguaramas beach. However, it is a popular spot for a wild camping. So when the weather is good, there are often few tents can be seen near the beach.

Barcelona Airport (BLA). Next get by taxi.
When to go [edit]
Feel free to relax on the beaches of northeastern Venezuela all year round. There is no pronounced rainy season, while sea water is always warm enough. In addition, this region is located outside the hurricane belt.
