Playa de Arena Blanca beach

Playa de Arena Blanca is a beach in the west of Bioko island, Equatorial Guinea. It is also known as Playa de Aleñá. This is one of the best beaches on the island, and it was really great many years ago. However, local administration for unclear reason removed many superb trees, that gave a lot of shade. As for now, the place became rather depressing. So we have only to wait for new trees to grow again. Fortunately, it happens quickly in the local climate. Good news are that the sand on the beach is quite pleasant. There is also a bar. As for bad things, there is a lot of garbage, while sea water is usually muddy. There are no hotels on the beach of Arena Blanca. The nearest hotels are located to the north - in the major town of Malabo.

Fly to Malabo international airport (SSG). Next get by taxi.

The best time for a holiday on the beaches of Bioko island is a dry season from December to March.
