Playa Elizabeth is a low key beach in the eastern suburbs of Palomino town, Colombia. There are two creaks flow into the sea. So the water is muddy. But on the other hand, you can swim both in the sea, as well as in freshwater lagoons. Nobody cleans the beach. So amount of garbage depends on the season and on the current weather conditions. There are always a lot of space to park your car. 4WD vehicle is recommended to reach this beach. All campsites have a cafe, but these are not always operating. So it is worth to take with you all the necessary supplies. Shore and seabed: sand, pebbles.

There are no hotels right near the beach of Playa Elizabeth. However, there are several campsites:
Playa Elizabeth,
Gaviotas and
Chichi. All campsites have also occasional rooms rental. So ask about all possible options, when you arrive to the property. The nearest hotels are located a little to the west - in
Palomino.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Barranquilla international airport (BAQ). Next get by bus or take a taxi.
When to go [edit]
Playa Elizabeth beach is suitable for a holiday any time of year, since there is no pronounced rainy season, and it is always warm. It is best to surf during the windy period from December to April. As for a pure beach holiday - choose a quiet period from May to November.
